Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Tick AI - Shared To Do mobile app (iOS and Android) and this website, operated by Artem Kurtiak. By creating an account or using Tick AI, you agree to them.
The service
Tick AI lets you and your team send tasks (“ticks”) to each other, organize lists, and get reminders. The app is provided as-is for personal and team use.
Who can use Tick AI
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tick AI, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age of digital consent — up to 16 in parts of the European Economic Area. If you are under that age, do not create an account.
Your account
- You can create an account with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.
Acceptable use
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not use Tick AI to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone; to send spam or unwanted repeated ticks; to post content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable; to break the law; or to attempt to disrupt the service.
We remove objectionable content and eject the users responsible for it.
Safety and reporting
Every task you receive has a Report action, and you can report or block anyone from their profile in the app. Blocking stops them from sending you tasks or invites.
We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, removing content that breaks these terms and suspending or terminating the accounts behind it. You can also email contact@arktik.tech at any time.
AI features
Tick AI includes an assistant that turns what you type into suggested tasks. It is powered by a third-party model (Google’s Gemini API), and the text you type together with your teammates’ first names is sent to that provider to produce the suggestion.
AI output can be wrong. Suggested titles, dates, urgency and assignees are generated automatically and are not checked by a person. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before you create it, and for anything you send to a teammate as a result. The assistant never creates or sends anything on its own — it only proposes, and you confirm.
Do not enter confidential or sensitive information into the assistant. We provide the AI features “as is” and give no warranty that any suggestion will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes.
Content
You own the tasks and notes you create. You give us permission to store and display them so the app can work for you and people you share lists or ticks with.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms — including the Acceptable use rules above — or if we must do so to comply with the law or protect other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will let you know. You may stop using Tick AI and delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account. We may also discontinue the service, or features of it, with reasonable notice.
Disclaimer
Tick AI is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost data, missed reminders, or indirect damages to the extent allowed by law. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
Apple and the App Store
These terms are an agreement between you and us. Apple is not a party to them, and Apple is not responsible for Tick AI or its content.
- Your licence to use Tick AI is personal and non-transferable, and covers Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
- We alone are responsible for Tick AI, including its maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide either — email contact@arktik.tech and we will help.
- Apple gives no warranty of any kind for Tick AI. If the app ever fails to conform to a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price — Tick AI is free, so there is nothing to refund. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim about Tick AI: product liability, a failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, or a claim under consumer-protection or privacy law.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and defending any claim that Tick AI infringes someone’s intellectual property.
- You must comply with any third-party terms that apply while you use Tick AI — your mobile carrier’s data plan terms, for example.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by it as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You will use Tick AI only as US export law allows.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top will change when we do.
